Major upgrade to industry-standard ASIMUT room booking and event management software announced

As ASIMUT software ApS announced today it will release on 1 October a major upgrade of its industry-standard room booking and event management software for arts colleges, ASIMUT 3.0, to replace the previous second generation introduced 13 years ago, back in 2008, that has seen 29 updates over time.

Used by over 60 top-ranking music and performing arts schools worldwide, from New York’s Juilliard School to Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Singapore, the software has proved instrumental to managing university operations and, during the pandemic, successfully adapting large-scale planning for thousands of students and faculty worldwide, at a moment’s notice.

The new version ASIMUT 3.0 has at its heart a completely revised user experience for students and faculty, combining the latest design and technology standards. The focus of the redesign has been the use of ASIMUT 3.0 on smartphones, making it fully responsive to mobile devices.

“For over 15 years ASIMUT has been inspired by some of the world’s most amazing arts schools. Their input and creativity have made this such a powerful collaboration for us. The new version is that collaboration, that knowledge distilled. It is a response to the very specific needs, current and future, of our wonderful community of users”, says CEO and Founder Mads Skovbjerg Paldam who initially developed ASIMUT during his tenure as Head of IT at the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus, to specifically address the planning needs of performing arts schools.

Further statements about the software, from senior administrators of world-leading performing arts schools, can be found on the How Others Use It page.
