In early April, we held our annual ASIMUT User Group Meeting (UGM) in the inspiring surroundings of the Conservatorio di Milano. Recently, we had the pleasure of returning to this remarkable venue to attend the AEC Congress.
For those who may not already know, the annual AEC Congress is organized by the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen. It brings together leaders and professionals from music conservatories and higher music education institutions across Europe to discuss key developments and challenges in the field.
ASIMUT has eagerly attended the AEC Congress for many years. The event is particularly valuable to us as it provides a unique opportunity to engage with institutions dedicated to shaping the future of music education. Being part of this event allows us to stay attuned to developments in the field, understand the specific challenges music institutions face, and explore how ASIMUT can continue to support their work.
To us, the AEC Congress is about much more than presenting our system – it’s an opportunity to listen, learn and connect with the community. Furthermore, it’s a great occasion for our prospective clients to meet institutions already using ASIMUT in their daily workflows. Hearing firsthand how the system benefits their operations resonates far more than any sales pitch ever could. These connections are what make the AEC Congress so special to us, and why it remains a highlight of our calendar every year.
And of course, the host, Conservatorio di Milano, rose to the occasion once again – this time managing five times as many participants as at our UGM – with flying colors.
A heartfelt thank you to the organizers for creating such a fantastic event! We’re truly grateful for the opportunity to exchange ideas and contribute to strengthening the fine arts education community.
