Recently, we gathered with our awesome user community for this year’s User Group Meeting at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague/Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag – and once again we were reminded of what makes the ASIMUT user community truly special. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us – your enthusiasm, engagement and valuable feedback are deeply appreciated, helping us ensure that ASIMUT continues to evolve in exactly the right direction.
Below you’ll find some photos capturing the spirit of this year’s UGM – from lively discussions and moments of connection to the energetic participation in our annual “sticky note vote.” And speaking of that …
Sticky notes and bright ideas
#BuildingASIMUTtogether isn’t just a catchy hashtag; it’s genuinely how we work. Perhaps the best example of this is that very “sticky note vote” – a highlight of every User Group Meeting. Here, our users actively help shape ASIMUT’s future by prioritizing the features they’d most like to see in the system.
Here’s how it works: Each participant receives a handful of sticky notes – one red for their highest priority, two orange for important features and four yellow for other desirable features. These colorful notes become our roadmap, guiding development through a transparent, user-driven prioritization process. After the UGM, we consolidate these into a shortlist of the ten most-requested features and send it back to the community for one final round of voting. While we can’t promise every wish will come true immediately, this process ensures that we’re aligned closely with our users’ evolving needs.
When we meet again next year, we’ll proudly share the improvements we’ve made based directly on feedback from our users. Until then, thank you once again to everyone who participated – your insights are the reason ASIMUT continues to grow.
A special thank you to our generous host, Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag, for providing the perfect setting for collaboration, conversation, and yes, even cake.
Here’s to another year of #BuildingASIMUTtogether!
