The School was born 2015, when all the Danish state and state funded higher performing arts institutions were unified. Since then, DDSKS unites the Acting School at Aarhus Theatre and in Odense, the School of Playwriting at Aarhus Theatre, The Danish Musical Academy in Fredericia, Odsherred Theatre School and the State Performing Arts School. Students are given the opportunity to study modern performing arts programmes in a cooperating national and international environment.
