As the year winds down and we at ASIMUT once again find ourselves gathered around a Christmas tree, it feels like a good moment to take a short break from features, releases and roadmaps. 2025 has certainly kept us busy, curious and occasionally slightly out of breath, so before we start rocking our way into 2026, we would like to look back and say thank you.
Looking back at 2025
2025 has been another full and rewarding year at ASIMUT.
We have released new versions of the software and introduced new features, continuing our close collaboration with users and our focus on making planning and everyday work smoother, clearer and more flexible.
We have also grown again and welcomed new clients from around the world. Seeing the ASIMUT community expand year by year is a powerful source of motivation for all of us, as it shows how ASIMUT continues to help more and more schools by meeting real needs in real institutions.
Behind the scenes, we welcomed several new colleagues to the team. We would like to thank them for the great effort they have made to settle in quickly. We know there is a lot to learn to master the ASIMUT curriculum, but their contribution already strengthens ASIMUT’s development, support and client onboarding capacity and adds valuable new perspectives to our work.
At the same time, we are fortunate – and proud – to have colleagues who have been with us for many years. In 2025, Dennis marked his 15-year anniversary with us, and John reached his 10-year milestone. Being able to train and retain highly specialized employees over time is critical in a highly specialized company like ASIMUT. To us, it means deep know-how, continuity and a shared understanding of both the system and the educational environment it supports.
One of the absolute highlights of the year was our User Group Meeting, hosted at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. We would like to extend a warm thank you to our hosts for their hospitality and to all participants for the open exchange of experiences, insights and ideas that continue to shape ASIMUT. In 2026, we are very much looking forward to meeting our user community again in Manchester, England. Invitations have just been sent out, and we hope to see many familiar and new faces there.
Throughout the year, we also participated in a number of conferences: ELIA, ICfAD and AEC. These events give us the opportunity to visit different places around the world where our clients host and take part in professional forums. Being present in these contexts is invaluable to us and plays an important role in keeping ASIMUT closely connected to the field it serves.
Looking ahead to 2026
Interest in ASIMUT continues to grow, and we are receiving a steadily increasing number of inquiries. This is very encouraging, and we expect to welcome many new clients into the ASIMUT community in 2026. We are also seeing growing interest from Asia, a region we are genuinely excited to engage with more. After successful implementations in Hong Kong, Singapore and mainland China in previous years, we implemented our first customer in Thailand in 2025, and it looks like there are more to come.
On the development side, several important new features are planned for 2026, including open session scheduling and the new forms module. These developments will further expand what ASIMUT can support in day-to-day planning and administration, and we are excited to share more details as they take shape.
Supporting an international and growing user community remains a key focus. We will continue to work hard to provide clear, relevant and high-quality support in ASIMUT’s five main languages: English, German, Italian, Spanish and French. Alongside this, translation work across all available user interface languages – now 15 and counting – will remain an ongoing effort. It is a substantial task, but steady progress is being made, and it remains a key part of making ASIMUT accessible and usable for a broad international community. In 2026, we will be finalizing our new Slovak translation – the latest addition to the ASIMUT language family.
As we move into 2026, we will keep sharing updates on new features, developments and community activities through our blog and on LinkedIn. Stay tuned to follow what’s next for ASIMUT and the community building it together.
Thank you and happy holidays
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to our clients, partners and users for your trust, engagement and collaboration throughout 2025. We wish you a relaxing holiday season and all the very best for the year ahead.
We look forward to #BuildingASIMUTtogether in 2026!
