With the spring sun slowly returning and casting a new light across our office (and our many plants), it felt like the right moment for version 3.6. In addition to reinforcing what’s already there and fine-tuning the experience you rely on every day, this release also introduces a few new features and pilots. Over the next weeks, we’ll be upgrading your systems to the newest version, with improvements that strengthen and refine ASIMUT across the board.
In the advanced interface, you’ll find a new arrangement chart (beta) for broader semester or yearly overviews, as well as open session scheduling (pilot) – a much-anticipated functionality developed together with our community over the past UGMs. A detailed changelog is now also available directly in the system.
In the common interface, settings, help and account sections have been reorganized to make navigation more intuitive. ASIMUT can now also be installed as a Progressive Web App – a direct response to the many requests we have received from our users, and the best solution we are able to offer at this time – giving you a faster, full-screen, app-like experience.
Behind the scenes, we’ve updated the common interface to Material Design 3 and the latest Angular version. This brings better performance, improved reliability, enhanced security and future compatibility – without requiring any action from you. We’ve also implemented performance optimizations, resulting in faster schedules, quicker searches and smoother overall use.
Finally, we continue improving translations – and we’re happy to introduce a full Slovak version of ASIMUT.
