What is the User Group Meeting?

The ASIMUT User Group Meeting is an annual, two-day event where key members from the ASIMUT user institutions and core members of the ASIMUT team, meet to discuss and prioritize future developments, promote knowledge sharing, network among users, and provide training in the newest additions to the software.

The world’s leading schools of music, drama, and art meet here to socialize and share knowledge. The hosting institution changes each year and is coveted between schools. Previous hosts include the Royal Academy of Music in London, the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg.

Participation is free of charge, including the meals mentioned in the agenda. Participants arrange and pay for their own travel and accommodation.

Train best practice

At the conference, senior members of the ASIMUT software team present high-quality sessions sharing best practices and the latest insights for optimizing ASIMUT. Our goal is to enhance ASIMUT’s efficient use, benefiting school management, administration, and students at participating institutions, leveraging 15+ years of experience from world-leading schools.

Refresh, learn and get inspired

Both for new and experienced users, the sessions are designed to:

  • Refresh existing knowledge.
  • Learn about and gain insight into new functionalities and developments.
  • Get inspired from best practices in ASIMUT’s implementation across other schools, enhencing internal usage and benefits.

Build a valuable network

The User Group Meeting is currently the only forum of this magnitude allowing key management and administrative staff from higher education institutions within the arts from all over the world to meet and network – free charge. Lifelong valuable professional relationships are created during the User Group Meeting.

Be involved and contribute

A key element of our User Group Meeting is the so-called “Sticky Note Vote”. All participants contribute with their personal/institutional input, to help prioritize the future development of ASIMUT software. ASIMUT reciprocates at the User Group Meeting with an annual report of the latest development and future prioritization.
