There’s quite a lot that’s new at ASIMUT this autumn. Our team has grown, so has our community – and we’re bringing back an old way of keeping you up to date with everything that’s going on.

A new face at ASIMUT

First of all, we’re delighted to welcome Michael Marshall to the ASIMUT team.

Michael joins our Client Relations team with 28 years of experience from Apple, much of it working with colleges and universities to help them adopt and make the most of new technology.

As ASIMUT continues to grow, Michael will be taking a fresh look at how we support learning and understanding of the system – both internally and for our clients. He’ll start by exploring where additional or improved materials could make a difference, across areas such as onboarding, implementation and the wider client journey, before helping us develop and structure the content to support these areas. True to form, Michael likes to start by listening, with plenty of questions along the way, before shaping anything new. He looks forward to getting to know our clients and their schools.

You’ll be hearing much more about all of this as the work develops – and you’ll also have the chance to meet Michael at our User Group Meeting in Antwerp in 2027.

A warm welcome to our new clients

The ASIMUT community has been growing, too. Over the past months, an excellent line-up of institutions has joined – something that genuinely make us proud. A very warm welcome to:

  • Vysoká škola múzických umení v Bratislave (Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava), Slovakia
  • Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, Bangkok, Thailand
  • Hochschule für Musik und Theater München, Germany
  • Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, England
  • Big Noise, Edinburgh, Scotland
  • Carnegie Mellon School of Music, Pittsburgh, PA
  • Conservatorio di Musica di Reggio Emilia e Castelnovo ne’ Monti “Peri – Merulo”, Italy

Last week, we finally got around to celebrating our new clients in the traditional ASIMUT way: with cake. Some traditions are simply too good to give up.

And an old-new way to keep in touch

One more piece of news to add to the pile: this autumn, we’ll be bringing back the ASIMUT newsletter. Published quarterly – in September, December, March and June – it’ll gather the highlights from our blog and LinkedIn into one place, from releases and new functionality to client and company news, events and the general goings-on at ASIMUT.

Of course, we hope you’ll continue to follow us on LinkedIn for news and updates as they happen. And we’ll let you know more about the newsletter very soon. So stay tuned!
